I m already 4 hours in, and up to Kalm. (Yay, no more scrounging for save points, I can just leave town and save whenever! Yay, I can grind on random mobs and restock on consumables when I need to!)

so thats a pretty solid enchancement..are their any other improvements? polished graphics or better cutscenes? additional content?

You get a polygon smoothing option in the settings menu, but it's the same game you played on the original Playstation. No new material whatsoever, from what I can tell. I can't remember if widescreen mode existed in the original or not (my tv wouldn't have handled it at the time, so I never checked).. but this one has it, which makes playing on an hdtv less of an eyesore.
